8TH GRADE FIELD TRIP!

On Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, our 8^th grade students will travel to Cincinnati for a day of learning, camaraderie, and fun. We'll start the day with an arts enhancement experience as we tour the Taft Museum of Art.  After our guided tour of the museum, it's off to see the Cincinnati Reds face the Texas Rangers during Great American Ball Park's College Prep Day. A number of colleges from the tri-state area will be available to provide students with information about their schools. After the ball game, we will make the short walk to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center to tour the museum as an educational enhancement to correspond to our study of the United States during the antebellum and Civil War eras. We'll wrap up the day at Hofbrauhaus in Newport for a group dinner before heading back to Lexington. This promises to be a great experience for all students involved and we hope to have all of our 8^th grade students participate. With your help, we can make sure the cost of attending isn't a barrier for any of our students.
