Hi everybody, my name is Vader and I’m only 15 months old. I love to play, I love to catch balls and fetch…but I haven’t been able to do that in a while. You see, I was hit by a car.

It was a hit-and-run and my dad was very upset and rushed me to the vet. They told my dad I need to have my leg removed and that it was going to cost him $900. I know my dad loves me but man, that’s a lot! The nice vet people wrapped me up and gave me some meds for now until we can find a way to pay. We’ve been talking to all our friends about it and finally some nice people at Cat N Around Rescue reached out and asked my dad if they could do a fundraiser for me!

I just couldn’t believe it!! I of all doggies know times are tough and it’s a dog eat dog world out there but I would be forever grateful if I could run again and catch that ball.
