Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We are excited to introduce Hope Market, a new food distribution service dedicated to serving families and individuals in Sussex County, Pike County, and Orange County. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide fresh fruit, vegetables, frozen meat, and baked goods to those in need, while supporting our community with basic necessities, mentorship, job training, and spiritual encouragement.
Understanding Our Community’s Challenges
Many families in our region are facing mounting difficulties. Rising costs of living, housing insecurity, and insufficient income make it harder for people to put nutritious food on the table, pay bills, and plan for a stable future. We see neighbors struggling every day, and we believe everyone deserves a chance to thrive.
Hope Market Services
Hope Market offers more than just food. We strive to nurture body, mind, and spirit by:
· Providing fresh produce, frozen meats, and baked goods for free to those in need
· Supplying essential items like toiletries, diapers, and warm clothing
· Offering mentorship, job training, and spiritual encouragement to empower individuals and families
Our Funding Needs
To make a lasting impact, we need your help. We are seeking support for three key areas:
1. Mobile Food Trailer: Our goal is to raise $5,000 to outfit a trailer, allowing us to reach more neighborhoods and distribute food directly to families where they live.
2. Storefront Home Base: We aim to secure a permanent location to serve as our headquarters and community gathering place. We need $2,500 per month to cover rent and utilities.
3. Benevolence Fund: With $2,500 per month, we can respond quickly to urgent needs—whether it’s helping with a utility bill, providing emergency food, or offering support during a crisis.
