Boulevard Fundraiser

Hello HIH Parents and Community,

Since its opening in 2024, we have absolutely loved our new “Boulevard” performance hall. It serves many purposes from large group assemblies to school chapels, theater productions, and more. The venue has even hosted outside arts groups and performances, allowing our community to experience quality Christian art right here in our own school.

Overall, it has served our school well. However, we are hoping to enhance and correct a few technical limitations in the space.

To best support our theater productions and improve the experience for every event held in the Boulevard, we are looking to accomplish the following:

LIGHTING: Install additional stage lighting instruments and controls to allow for focused spotlights, color washes, dimming capability, and improved visibility for performers. This will enhance storytelling, eliminate dark areas on stage, and create a more professional and engaging atmosphere for audiences.
SOUND: Purchase high-quality, individual wireless microphones and upgrade audio support equipment so each actor can be clearly heard. This will provide consistent sound levels, reduce feedback and distortion, and ensure that every word spoken or sung reaches the audience with clarity.
CURTAINS: Install permanent theatrical curtains, including main stage drapery and masking panels, to frame the stage, conceal backstage areas, improve acoustics, and allow for more dynamic entrances, scene changes, and dramatic effects.

These upgrades will serve not only our theater students but every assembly, chapel, concert, and community event hosted in this space.
