9880 Aftershock is a local student-led team entering its third year in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). In this nationwide STEM program, students design, build, and program robots while also serving their community through outreach and education. Our team of 12 students, ranging from 8th–12th grade, works year-round to engineer innovative robots and inspire younger students to explore STEM.

At our League Tournament, we earned 1st Place Alliance and 2nd Place Inspire Award, two of the highest honors in FTC competition. These achievements reflect not only our technical work but also our teamwork, leadership, and dedication to sharing STEM in our community.

With these wins comes the opportunity to advance further, but also increased costs. Robot parts, tools, registration fees, and outreach programs all require funding, and that’s why we’re launching this peer-to-peer campaign.
