Talbot House Ministries Winter Haven Center for Women and Children

Talbot House Ministries is embarking on a new ambitious endeavor to open the Winter Haven Center for Women and Children in January 2025. This vital center will provide a safe haven and comprehensive support services for women and children facing homelessness, crisis, and displacement in the Winter Haven community.

Our Goal:

To raise $800,000 by December 2024 to ensure the successful launch and operation of the Winter Haven Center for Women and Children. These funds will be used to:

• Secure and renovate a suitable facility: Providing a safe and welcoming environment with adequate space for housing, counseling, childcare, and other essential services.
• Staff the center with qualified professionals: Hiring experienced case managers, counselors, childcare providers, and other staff to deliver comprehensive support services.
• Develop and implement programs: Creating and delivering programs focused on housing stability, crisis intervention, life skills training, education, employment assistance, and childcare.
• Provide essential resources: Ensuring access to food, clothing, hygiene products, transportation assistance, and other basic needs.
