Have you been to the Park lately To Wander in Wonder?

Words from our A-Mazing Story contest winner (see story here) this year that describes the aspirations of the Park's Imagination Space so well. The work on new pathways, accessibility, and overall Wonder have created a space 5 years in the making, and we hope we can finish up the project with your help.

With imagination & tremendous community support – we are 92% completed on our infrastructure project for the Imagination Space – wow!

What we have accomplished:

• 3,000 sq ft of brick pathways weaving through the Park’s Imagination Space, A-Mazing paths & story, expanded water and electricity access for art and overhead lighting, outdoor island, a handicap space, entrance plantings, and concrete pads for our Winter entrance and stage.

• New and updated community art pieces, commissioned work (ie. our unicorn and Imagination Gate), and four large art pieces from CREATE! event.

We are so close with an 8% Gap to Finish = $23,150 in cost left to cover

What needs done:

• Materials and labor cost coverage to complete the paver walking paths.

• Materials and labor cost for piano water feature well & pump.

• Dirt & plantings within the Imagination Space paths, preparation for new artwork.

By donating today, you will help us close the 8% gap so next year we can focus on events, art and more Wonder for the community! For all that donate to this campaign of a $100 or more before the end of the year will receive a complimentary event t-shirt (while supplies last).

The first $1,000 in donations has been matched by our generous matching sponsor:
Barry Ramey at Ramey & Son Concrete Construction.

Our next $500 raised (when we get to $2,700), will be matched by our next generous matching sponsor: AMIDONIAN llc.

About Boardman Arts Park

The Arts Park began in 2017 as a volunteer organized effort to reclaim an unused green space and now has transformed into an outdoor art exhibit and event venue bringing the arts, community and new visitors into the City of Delaware.

The 2.2 acre green space is filled with unique art pieces, walking paths, and benches. Annual events are held including the Delaware Vintage & Artisan Festival, Beer & Wine Festival, CREATE! Event and Fright Night; as well as art and yoga classes, concerts and socials.
