The PHTTA's mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail for the enjoyment of current and future generations. We believe that this trail is a valuable asset to the community, providing opportunities for recreation, exercise, and nature appreciation.  

When you donate you support community connectivity and projects to connect the isolated portions of the trail from Nashville to Kentwood.  You also contribute maintenance projects such as trail re-paving, bridge replacement, mowing and brush removal. 

The association engages with local government, businesses and citizens to encourage and facilitate trail planning, support, and development. We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
