Supply Chain OKI - Youth Program

The Youth Program was created to make students in over 35 high schools aware of Supply Chain Career Pathways and current job opportunities. Information is presented by business partners and Supply Chain OKI leaders, through virtual and in-person Lunch & Learns. Students in 12th grade, who are interested in learning more, are selected by their high school to participate in a co-op program. These students receive supply chain training during their first semester and are placed in paid, co-op jobs the second semester, giving the students hands-on experience working for business partners. Many participants are offered a full-time job after graduation. There have been 189 students that have participated in this program. Many more high school students need an opportunity to get supply chain training and monetary help with transportation to and from co-op jobs. Your donation will help us expand this program by these costs. The cost for Lean Six Sigma/Supply Chain Fundamental Training is $200 per student. Donations totaling $5,000 will help 25 students get training and paid co-op jobs.
