Hello Lifesavers!

October has been a busy month for our team with vet visits for dogs like Pinky, who arrived at emaciated and battling the effects of mange; her resilience shines through as she transforms with every loving touch from her foster family. Then there's Moe, our charming little goofball, who’s not just working on his looks but also getting a procedure to correct his inward-rolling eyelids—because who wouldn’t want to see the world clearly? We have also had several dogs arrive heartworm positive who will need to be treated. All of this on top of monthly preventatives, vaccinations, and of course spay and neuter surgeries.

We have also taken in several dogs, like Emery and Elliot, from shelters affected by the hurricanes. This helps those shelters to have space to house displaced animals until their families locate them. We would love to be able to take in more of those dogs but we are extremely low on money and fosters. For these reasons, we are asking for your help.

We are trying several different things this month to raise funds. Give-A-Hoot Comedy Club is hosting a fundraiser for us. The shows are on 10/18 & 10/19. Last year, when we had a fundraiser there, it was so much fun and we almost sold out both nights which resulted in about a $2000 donation. This time, we have sold very few tickets with less than a week to go. If you are looking for something new to do for date night, or girls night out, this should be at the top of your list! All of the info below!

Additionally, we a running a T-shirt and Hat fundraiser. Normally, we sell at least a hundred T-shirts which which also raises a couple thousand dollars. With 2 days to go we are very far from that goal. So check out the new design below and get your orders in!

We have said many times through the years that we cannot continue to save lives without you and it's the absolute truth.
