Memphis Dawah Association Robotics Initiative

The Kulliye Robotics and Innovation Lab is equipping Whitehaven youth with the tools to succeed in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world through its growing Robotics Initiative. By introducing young people to robotics, coding, and engineering, MDA is creating pathways into STEM careers while fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Educational Workshops

The Kulliye Robotics and Innovation Lab hosts hands-on robotics workshops where students learn to design, build, and program robots. These workshops emphasize problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration, providing students with both technical skills and confidence to pursue advanced opportunities in STEM fields.

Competitions and Engagement

Youth participants are encouraged to apply their knowledge in robotics competitions, where they test their designs against peers, refine their technical skills under real-world pressure, and experience the excitement of achievement through teamwork and perseverance. These events spark curiosity, inspire excellence, and give young people a platform to shine.

Mentorship Through BDPA Partnership

MDA has partnered with the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) to provide professional training and mentorship for Memphis youth. Through this partnership, students gain exposure to industry experts, access to cutting-edge technology training, and one-on-one mentorship that connects their classroom learning to real career pathways.
