Creative Nexus

Creative Nexus is a series of gatherings designed to provide an intentional space for BIPOC and LGBTQ artists to connect, collaborate, celebrate, and receive artistic business development support.  The program will kick off with a free concert in September 2024 and culminate with a day-long Creative Nexus Summit that will be held in May 2025. In between those dates, Creative Nexus events will feature workshops focusing on various aspects of artist development and a youth artist meet-up. The professional development workshops will be designed to engage diverse emerging leaders in activities designed to strengthen competencies and provide opportunities for promising arts professionals to establish networks that support their careers and the cultural interests of the communities they represent and serve. The Summit will be designed to further amplify artistic diversity in our community and provide a platform for BIPOC and LGBTQ artists to express themselves through various mediums.
