A Vision for the Future: Expanding the Collierville Burch Library

For nearly 75 years, the Friends of the Collierville Burch Library and the Collierville Contemporary Club have supported the library through advocacy and fundraising. As Collierville has grown, so has the need to expand and modernize this well-loved community resource.

The Town of Collierville is transforming the library into a dynamic, 21st-century space that supports learning, connection, and engagement for all ages. This vision—shaped by community input and years of planning—positions the library to better serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities.

What’s coming:

A 20,000-square-foot expansion featuring:

• Flexible event space for up to 300 people, with modular design

• Infrastructure for programs, civic events, and rentals

• Adult Reading Center and Conservatory

Enhanced library spaces:

• Reimagined Children’s Area and modern Teen Space

• Flexible rooms for meetings and programs

• Upgraded infrastructure throughout

Located next to Town Hall, the library will serve as a central hub for the community.
