The Duluth Edison Charter Schools Legacy Foundation is a community based effort to build a partnership with current students, alumni, family members, friends, and community members. Each plays an integral part in helping to provide supplemental funding, outside of a traditional school budget to enrich and extend the education of students within the Duluth Public Schools Academy, also known as, Duluth Edison Charter Schools. Often teachers and staff use their own personal funds to support their classroom needs. With your help we hope to provide opportunities that can only come from outside support. In the past we have awarded grants to teachers and staff members for a wide range of educational requests. Some of those include, sensory objects, school field trips, books specializing in ethnic and cultural diversity, music and art enrichment, outdoor classroom supplies and countless other items.

We are reaching out today to ask for your support for the children who attend the Duluth Edison Charter Schools. Any amount you are able to donate has the potential to impact over 1,300 students between K-8 at the North Star campus or K-5 at our Raleigh campus.
