Royal Family Kids Camp

A program of For The Children Thousand Oaks, Royal Family KIDS Camp creates life-changing moments for children in foster care through a 5-day resident summer camp in our local mountains.

Our camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life-giving activities throughout the 5-day experience. Our campers, ages 7-11, with a history of abuse or neglect, benefit from a safe and fun camp environment designed just for them.

With your generous support, we are able to offer this life-changing camp experience to campers free of charge!

Camper activities include: swimming, dancing, music, camper talent show, cookies with “grandma and grandpa”, engaging Bible stories, thoughtful activities and process-based art projects, cabin stories, dress-up, games on the lawn, pool time, hiking, rock wall, zip line, lizard catching, tea parties, and an unforgettable “Everybody’s Birthday” party celebration.
