Dignity in the Flow is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting menstrual hygiene and empowering veteran and homeless women and girls in the foster care system who may fall into underserved communities. Our mission is to empower every individual (Female) to have access to safe and dignified menstrual products and education, breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation in these underserved communities. Making decisions to purchase sanitary products versus food, clothes, and other vital necessities can be challenging to the demographics that Dignity in the Flow intends to serve. Helping women and girls access sanitary products and other supportive services helps them take steps toward fulfilling an immediate need and improving overall health and well-being.
