Mission

Day Community Food Pantry is a local, volunteer led organization created Dec 2022 to support a monthly Mobile Food Pantry in the Town of Day, through the NE Regional Food Bank. DCFP's ongoing and further mission is to maintain and expand food and supportive offerings for neighbors in need.

Location:  Town Hall , Town of Day, NY

Dates:  The Third Thursday of every Month (we are never closed for rain, snow, power outages, etc.)

Hours: 10:00 - 11:30am

Notifications: 

1. When you cannot attend:  Please contact the Town Clerk (1-(518) 696-3789) if you cannot pick up your food when we do the Pop Up Food Pantry. We can build a box and place it in the hallway for you to pick up later. Or, we may be able to find a way to get the box delivered to your home if you leave your name, phone number, and address.
2. Holiday meals:  Our Food Pantry will be starting a new service to provide the fixings for you to create holiday meals moving forward.  For instance, frozen turkeys and raw food materials for traditional foods will be provided at the same food pantry date in advance of the holiday.  Basically, you will be doubling up on food on the Thursday before the holiday.
