The htxSHPEtina scholarship is meant to provide aid to a woman in STEM at the University of Houston so that she may continue her growth and development throughout her college career.

The scholarship founders, Cindy & Rosie, are fellow UH alumni and first generation college grads. SHPE played an essential role in them graduating with their engineering degrees in 2016 & 2017 and this is their way of giving back to their community. This scholarship will be awarded to a recipient(s) that is a UH woman in STEM and is active in the SHPE community while maintaining good academic standing.
