On September 23, 2023, The Dr. Nana Foundation will be extending their kindheartedness to the people of Gambia in West Africa with Dr. Erick Y. Nana being there himself. This joyous activity is part of the global journey to prevent diabetes and hypertension through knowledge exchange and regular screening and control and consultation.

We are expecting between 700- 900 attendees. The Venue is the Phase Two Extension Mosque in Brusubi from 8 AM to 3 PM with charitable support of volunteers of the Kanifing General Hospital. This will be followed by entertainment featuring food, drinks and Music at the Transquil Hotel Resort of Brusubi. The Resort is seven miles from Banjul international airport and 15 minutes walking distance from Bijilo Beach and Forrest Park also known as Monkey Park.

We predict this mission will be successful due to the experience gained from the previous overseas missions such as in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Cameroon and Jamaica.

We do realize the uniqueness of Gambia and we look forward to touring the historic facilities used to detain slaves such as Kunta Kinte – Tobi, Bijilo Beach and Forest and much more. Special thanks to our volunteers and sponsors in advance and please do spread the word of our mission.
