Update 2/15/24: Thanks to an amazing adoption coordinator, we've already hit 600 animals supported. We are so thankful for the opportunity to save these precious felines.

Update 9/20/23: We are almost 3 years into helping kitties as the A2R family. We have helped over 500 cats and they have made many loving connections with humans. We are sanctuary for 5 cats who are unadoptable (and our mascot Vanilla who was unadoptable for 2 years and now is too loved by our fans). We touch even more lives sharing our kittens and Vanilla with others for pet therapy with Paws-to-Share. We are a Gold level Charity on Guidestar. We hope to expand to support many more independant rescuers in the upcoming year.

Update 1/9/2023: We are 2 years along now. We have our non profit status with the IRS! All donations are tax deductible now. We have rehomed almost 250 cats and 3 dogs. We are primarily helping cats now due to space and insurance. We have been working on branding and developing a better working website and donation sites. We are still trying to work on facilities for transitioning cats as they move to foster care and need quarantine spaces as well as a catio enclosure for unadoptable cats. Your donations go to helping build temporary housing for animals as well as business development of marketing to helps us get animals posted and adopted through our brand awareness. We are still a fully volunteer organization but hope to be able to someday employ a few full time support staff to keep us growing. Donations to this fund will go directly to business & facility development/maintenance.

1/13/2022: In just 13 months: over 120 cats & 3 dogs lives saved, over 150 cats sterilized. found loving homes for 3 dogs, over 100 cats, and we are currently caring for 35 cats/kittens with foster help. We personally fund all medical, sterilization, supplies, housing, food, and training. We work with cat colonies to offer them support as well. Our goal is to expand as quickly as possible to meet a never ending need. In order to do this, we need you! We have a network of support but most cannot help us without a 501c3 standing. Our paperwork is submitted and we are waiting IRS approval. We need to get awareness out through a website which will keep donations coming in. We also need to build various areas to support our animals . Please help us get our rescue off the ground.

Backstory:
December 1, 2020 Turbo came into my life. He was a feral cat who was dying slowly due to a severe respiratory infection. A preventable and treatable one. I answered a call for help because I couldn’t know he was slowly dying unable to eat or breathe well with ants starting to cover his lifeless body. So I drove over and scooped up a lifeless body. After 3 days of hospitalization, $1500 in donations to cover those bills donated by neighbors, weeks of personally sleeping in a quarantine room to provide round the clock care, and months of continued rehabilitation, Turbo now is a housecat! We’ve decided he should stay at the sanctuary as he is bonded with us and very fearful of all others. During this time, I’ve had so many people contact me asking for help in the same way with cats and kittens they see abandoned or without homes but I can only help a fraction of them. I need to get our rescue up and officially started to save as many lives as possible. Please help make this a reality.
