In these challenging times, we are reaching out to you with an urgent appeal on behalf of the Chevra Kadisha of Ashdod, located in the southern region of Israel. This dedicated group + 70 volunteers is currently facing a daunting task - identifying and ensuring a proper burial for the numerous unidentified bodies from the recent catastrophe that occurred during Simchat Torah events.

In addition to the urgent need for equipment and supplies, it's essential to address the financial aspect of ensuring a proper burial. The costs associated with burial arrangements can be significant, and your donations will also go towards covering these expenses. Our collective efforts will not only help with the identification process but also ensure that those who have lost their lives are given the respect and dignity they deserve in their final journey.
