Peter Donde Was 10 Years Old. He Died After the U.S. Cut Off His HIV Medication.

14 million lives are on the line. Will you join our fight?

On January 24, 2025, the United States cut off access to food, medicine, and education for 120 million people around the world. Since then, over 600,000 lives have been lost.

One of them was Peter Donde: a 10-year-old boy who died after losing access to life-saving HIV medication. And unless these humanitarian programs are restored, a new study in The Lancet warns that up to 14 million people could die by 2030.

We can’t, and won’t, let that happen without a fight.

That's why, we’ve built a nationwide coalition to restore international assistance, strengthen U.S. soft power, and protect America’s role on the world stage. Together, we have:

  • Held 750+ meetings with congressional staff

  • Recruited 1,000+ volunteers across all 50 states

  • Started chapters on 80 college campuses
  • Supported James Walkinshaw in his successful run for Congress

  • Featured in ABC News

And this is just the beginning. By the midterms, we’re on track to recruit 10,000 volunteers and champion lifesaving public health, anti-poverty, and foreign aid programs that keep America strong at home and respected abroad.

But we can’t do this alone.

A4AL is powered entirely by volunteers. Every member of our team, including leadership, serves without pay. That allows us to direct 100% of your support toward the work that matters most: advocacy, communications, and voter registration.

By 2026, we are on track to mobilize 10,000 advocates, support congressional campaigns across the country, and build the infrastructure needed to restore global development programs.

This is our moment to act. To lead with purpose. To show the world what American values truly mean.

Join us. Be the voice Congress can’t ignore.
