This Giving Tuesday, Auburn Area Community Theatre is raising $1,500 to purchase wig microphones for our wireless sound system—an essential upgrade that will dramatically improve audio quality and performer comfort, especially for our growing children’s theatre program.

With some of our actors as young as 5, our current headset microphones are too large for many of our younger performers, often shifting during movement and resulting in inconsistent sound. They also aren’t built to withstand the high-energy, high-use environment of our youth productions. Wig microphones provide a small, secure, and durable option that allows performers to move freely and confidently—while ensuring our audiences experience clear, professional-quality audio.
