Traditional cancer events focus on fundraising or awareness. Atlanta Against Cancer 2025 takes a different approach—blending large-scale public art, interactive experiences, and cultural programming to create lasting, meaningful engagement.

Founded in 2020 after Eyal Schechter’s personal battle with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Bebop was inspired by his grandmother’s legacy and a desire to reimagine the cancer experience. What began as a creative response has grown into a blueprint for lasting change.

Atlanta Against Cancer is the local initiative of the Bebop Cancer Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While AAC focuses on mobilizing community-driven action in Atlanta, Bebop brings a national vision—merging art, innovation, and culture to reshape how the world thinks about cancer.

The Bebop Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing creative solutions for the cancer experience. Our mission is to innovate and evolve the experience of having cancer from the visuals within the hospital to the clothing and content created. We raise funds for continued art activations that provide patients and their families with empowering outlets for their emotional experience both as individuals and as part of the greater cancer community.
