William King Jr. has been the manager of The Boss Radio program for many years, and is a long-time community media host. He will talk about issues impacting the African American community and the current conditions that keep folks from achieving their goals. Mr. King is a graduate of Midland University in Fremont. Mr. King was a probation officer and worked with Mayor Mike Fahey.

Our upcoming program with Mr. King will raise issues that may be uncomfortable for those who go along to get along. We are facing challenging times, and folks are questioning our inability to move forward as a community in Nebraska. William King Jr. has his finger on the pulse of African American folks in Omaha, and works to broadcast those ideas to the masses. A while back, MORE host (and board president) A'Jamal Byndon, invited Mr. King to his African American studies class to discuss his media experience and some of his advocacy work for the Black Community. Black Studies and other UNO faculty members rarely invite community advocates to speak to students because they don't connect the essential link between grass tops advocacy and African American advancement. Mr. King was among the many guest speakers in A'Jamal Byndon's classes during his tenure at the University of No Opportunity. And, Mr. King was one of the first hosts to invite Mr. Byndon to speak on the television program he hosted on Cox Cable Channel 22 years ago.
