The American Anti-Slavery Group

The American Anti-Slavery Group (AASG) is an independent research and activist organization focusing on modern-day chattel slavery in Africa and the Middle East. The AASG partners with the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI), a registered 501(c)(3) educational charity.

Donations are made directly to the ISBI from this site and are fully tax-deductible. Contributions to the ISBI from this site will be used to liberate slaves, provide help and education to those who are freed, educate the public about modern-day chattel slavery, educate government agencies and persuade them to act, and promote efforts by others to liberate slaves.

Organizations receiving funds from these donations include:

Christian Solidarity International (CSI), which redeems and cares for slaves in Sudan.

• The Sahel Foundation for Human Rights, which works to combat slavery in Mauritania and help former slaves obtain an education.

• The International Committee on Nigeria (ICON), which organizes the Nigerian population in America to fight for the freedom and protection of Christian Nigerians who are the target of jihad murder and enslavement.

• The LEAH Foundation, which advocates for the release of Leah Sharibu, a Nigerian Christian woman kidnapped by Boko Haram as a teenager in 2018 and still held as a slave today.
