My journey in transitioning my career to teaching has been a long one and without the immense support from AATF it would have been a harder one; I literally do not know what I would have done without AATF. AATF has been with my journey every step of the way and introduced me to amazing, dynamic and powerful educators, locally and nationally. I have received support for things like professional development, licensure support and job application and interviewing skills to "little" things teachers need, like supplies for my classroom and a group of my peers on a similar journey to talk and connect with on a regular basis to hash out the many trials and challenges this chosen occupation brings. And the support continues. When I tell people about this organization, "amazing" is usually the word they respond with as well. Join in with AATF to support this mission!
