AAU College Hockey Fund

Welcome to the general donation page of AAU College Hockey.  Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy days to consider donating to this very worthwhile cause.

AAU College Hockey teams are considered part of club sports at their respective universities, and as such only receive a small amount of funding each year -- average of $2,500 per team from the school.  Each team has an annual average budget of $200,000 or greater depending on ice costs and travel.  As a result, student-athletes pay on average of $3k – $5k per year to play hockey in college which is over and above the significant fees student-athletes pay every year to attend college.  The rest of the budget is covered by donations and sponsorships.

This is where you come in to help.  We have created the AAU College Hockey Fund to help defray these high costs and will consider applications from our teams to assist in enabling them to travel and play inter-conference games, participate in showcase events as well as the national championships.

Our goal is to enable amazing experiences for our young men and women they can use as part of giving back to the community, while in school and upon graduation.  We need more ambassadors in our sport to teach the next generation how great hockey can be in shaping positive life lessons.  The experiences in college lay the foundation for helping others, and your donations will be a huge help in enabling this to happen.

The Collegiate Hockey Federation operates AAU College Hockey and is a 501(c)3 organization, so your donations are fully tax deductible. Thank you so very much for your generosity as it will have a huge and lasting impact.
