Healing The Community (HTC) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to assisting individuals impacted by poverty, gang involvement, incarceration, and homelessness. 

In Seattle and South King County, thousands struggle to access basic necessities due to systemic barriers, lack of outreach, and bureaucratic gaps. Individuals recently released from incarceration or exiting gang life often lack identification, cannot navigate public systems alone, and are disconnected from housing and work pathways. HTC was created to fill this gap — by bringing support directly to the streets, shelters, and community centers where people are. Our clients need more than a list of referrals—they need advocates.
