My desire for fundraising to end trafficking of women and girls comes from a compassionate place. I wish to support and uplift women, giving them the courage and tools to reclaim their lives and their voices, and helping them overcome fear and roadblocks in their lives. Trafficking is an incredibly painful and difficult experience. I see this cause as not only a way to advocate for freedom but also to empower women in ways that go beyond the fight against trafficking. I hope that my focus on providing hope and strength through my fundraising efforts can make a significant difference. I am thankful to Cathey Anderson, the founder and her daughter, Callie Carson, for opening my eyes to the severity of this issue and leading me to the Freedom Challenge.
