In the world of animal rescue, you have no idea what tomorrow will bring. It could consist of a standard day with scheduled spays, neuters, or vaccinations…or it could consist of getting a call from a shelter, asking us to take in a rabbit with medical needs that are beyond them, rescuing a dumped rabbit who needs immediate veterinary care, or rushing a rabbit in for care due to GI stasis. No day is the same, and we never know what is going to come our way.

In 2025 so far we have spent $14,534 on medical care alone. That includes all the routine spays, neuters, and vaccinations, as well as all of the unexpected and emergency cases that have come through our rescue.

This Giving Tuesday, you can make a difference by helping us prepare for what we cannot expect. You can grow our medical fund so that we don’t have to make hard decisions due to cost when a medically complex case comes our way.
