Transforming one community at a time!

Three Aahana sites in communities have been identified, who live in poverty without access to education, employment opportunities, and medical care. They are forced to work in the farms as daily wage earners, doing menial jobs, and more than often are forced into prostitution, domestic work or beg for livelihood. Child marriages and trafficking are rampant and put young girls at risk of death and disease.

We have been actively involved in supporting these communities and are diligently working on securing resources to establish a multipurpose facility for community gatherings and empowerment initiatives.

As part of our strategic plan, developed with the families who live here, AAHANA is poised to launch online education opportunities and women's empowerment programs, unlocking a world of possibilities and fulfilling the aspirations of the families in these communities.

The programs are done through Technology platforms, i.e., Zoom classes. Children get online education, and women also receive education, empowerment training, and skill set training such as seamstress and beautician.
