I found Apricity Hope through their podcast, "When Autumn Comes." I loved hearing stories of other families like mine, and I loved not having to really give a lot of context to the conversation. Despite the fact that our children are medically complex, we all love them fiercely. In 2023 when I was given the opportunity to travel across the US to VA to stay with a group of strangers in a pink house for a weekend, I took the leap. I desperately needed the recharge Apricity Hope offered me. I left feeling renewed and hopeful that I could be more than my children's mother, and I began reconnecting to the things that make me a whole person. AHP offers Hope and Love for caregivers of medically complex children, and I am so grateful to be a part of this "flock" of flamingos 🦩✨️💜🩵 AHP helps make me a better Mama.
