You are invited to join the Apricity Hope Project on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Historic Granby Theater in Norfolk, VA for A Halloween Night of Hope! We will have a LIVE auction, great food and spooky drinks, a costume contest, and more!

The Apricity Hope Project is a nonprofit organization based in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We would like to extend a partnership opportunity to you and your company to make an impact on the caregivers of medically complex children in our community.

As a medical mama myself, I am so incredibly grateful for all of the organizations that exist to help my children. After years spent in and out of children's hospitals, learning as much as I can about being a rare disease family, advocating and fundraising for mitochondrial disease research, losing my daughter at 5.5 years old and still caring for my son who also has mitochondrial disease… I am aware that there just is not enough support available for caregivers of medically complex and disabled kiddos. So I created it!

The Apricity Hope Project cares for caregivers in many ways:

• We offer seasonal Care(giver) Packages and Hospital Go-Bags for those who need a little extra box of hope.
• The When Autumn Comes Podcast is a program of Apricity Hope Project. This is a popular podcast with over 30k unique downloads (as of spring 2023) for medical mamas, and the people who love them.
• Our Take Five Program has a goal to gift caregivers with at least five minutes of a break. Whether that is through beach getaways, retreats at our Apricity Hope House, or meetups around town with people who see them for what they are doing.
• Additionally, the Apricity Hope Project continues to fundraise for mitochondrial disease research that is taking place at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
