In the hills of southwestern Uganda lies Ruharo Mission Hospital, a place where faith and healing come together. This May, Amigos Internacionales and Doctors on Mission International are joining forces to host a one-week Eye Surgical Camp from May 19–25, dedicated to serving 1,000+ vulnerable children, adults, and elderly suffering from cataracts, glaucoma, and other debilitating eye conditions.

All treatments — from vision screenings to life-changing surgeries — will be completely free, delivered by a team of Christian volunteer medical professionals.

“This is not just about restoring sight,” says a Doctors on Mission representative. “It’s about restoring hope, independence, and dignity.”

The cost to run this camp is $15,000, covering surgical equipment, medications, transport for volunteers, and post-op care. Through a generous sponsor, we’ve secured a $5,000 matching grant — so your donation will be doubled.
