This year Jackson-Reed High School’s Crew team (formally Wilson)—hit a milestone celebrating four decades of grit, teamwork, and excellence. As the only public high school rowing program in Washington, DC, our legacy is one of resilience and achievement, made possible by the dedication of our athletes, coaches, families, and generous supporters.

We are launching a sponsorship campaign to ensure JR Crew remains strong for the next generation. Please support the team with a tax-deductible donation (EIN 46-0878484) for the upcoming season. For over 40 years, Jackson-Reed Crew has received no funding from DC Public Schools or the DC Interscholastic Athletics Association. As a club team and 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely entirely on family contributions and year-round fundraising. We’re committed to providing every student who wants to row the opportunity to do so, dedicating $50,000 annually to partial or full cost scholarships.

2025 – Girls 2nd Varsity 8, 2nd place at Stotesbury Cup Regatta
2024 – Freshman Girls 8, 1st place at Stotesbury Cup Regatta, nation’s largest high school race
2023 – Girls Varsity 8, 3rd place at Stotesbury Cup Regatta
2022 – Boys Varsity 8, U.S. Scholastic National Champions, invited to prestigious Henley Royal Regatta (UK)
2022 – Girls Varsity 8, 2nd place at Stotesbury Cup Regatta, and 4th at U.S. Scholastic National Championship.
2021 – Girls Varsity 4, winners of the Head of the Charles Regatta, world’s largest rowing competition
2019 – Boys Varsity 8, U.S. Scholastic National Champions.
