Art Inside Out is an evidence based creative expression program that brings healing, connection, and hope to people navigating incarceration, reentry, recovery, and major life transitions. At its core, the program uses art‑making as a powerful tool for emotional regulation, self‑understanding, and rebuilding identity, because healing begins when people are given space to express their inner world with dignity.

Every brushstroke, every color choice, every moment of reflection becomes a step toward grounding, confidence, and possibility.

Where We Teach the Program

Art Inside Out is currently offered in:

Correctional facilities - supporting individuals inside jails and prisons as they process trauma and prepare for reentry
Transitional housing and reentry programs - helping people stabilize, reconnect, and rebuild their lives
Recovery and mental health centers - providing a safe, creative outlet for emotional healing
Community spaces - creating inclusive environments where anyone can explore creativity and connection
