I’m raising funds to provide Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) opportunities for over 1,000 K–5 students at Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary, and I need your support today.
Every dollar donated will directly help bring hope, access, and hands-on, creative, and problem-solving learning experiences that go beyond textbooks.

“You cannot do all the good the world needs, but the world needs all the good you can do.”
I remembered this quote while thinking about why I’m doing this fundraiser. The first time I heard it, I knew it perfectly captured why I’ve been actively volunteering for 15 years.
As a Filipina immigrant who moved to Atlanta in 2022, I’ve used my content marketing skills to advance equity, from leading fundraising for Lupang Pangako Elementary in Payatas, to building nonprofit websites for 48in48, to hosting sandwich-making events with The Sandwich Project.
It also reflects why, even in challenging times, my fellow Hands On Atlanta Civic Fellows and I are rallying our communities to support this cause.
Recently, during the last 48in48 website build, I met a nonprofit founder whose mission is to help job applicants with last-mile costs like providing a full tank of gas so someone can get to their final job interview. Her story moved me deeply because I know how something small can change the course of someone’s life.
You may never meet the kids who benefit from your donation today, but your gift will help open doors to brighter futures, just like this city opened doors for me.
Donate today to make an immediate impact. These funds support CLP’s mission, including impactful partnerships like the Discovery Program at Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School. Let’s rally for these students and give them the chance to dream bigger.
