I started volunteering with Hands on Atlanta 8 years ago with the Parklane Discovery Program - a Saturday morning supplemental educational program for children in Atlanta. I have been witnessing the impact of community investment and of Hands on Altanta for those same 8 years - watching children improve their math and reading skills, connect with volunteers, and begin to dream about - and work toward - futures that overcome perceived limitations. 

Through Hands on Atlanta's Civic Leadership Program, I am fundraising to support not only the Discovery Program, but countless initiatives focused on improving Atlanta. 

Every dollar raised goes directly towards:

• Providing resources and opportunities for children who deserve a fair chance at success

• Stocking food banks so all families can put meals on the table

• Building a stronger, more compassionate Atlanta for all
