This event is an annual fundraiser for OnStage Dance Company.

A $25 donation gets you unlimited access to all 12 classes for the day.

Where is the event located? Mini Movers Studios. 14 Green Street in Charlestown, MA

When is this event occurring? Our 12th Annual Dance Class Marathon will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 (National Dance Day) from 1-8pm.

Is the studio accessible by public transportation? The studio is one block away from the #92 Bus and about a 10 minute walk from the Orange Line Community College Stop.

Who is this event for? This event is for adults looking to sample a variety of dance and fitness classes. Participants must be at least 18 years old to join.

Do I need prior dance experience to participate? Classes will be taught at an intermediate pace that will be familiar to those with previous dance experience, but this event is welcoming to dancers of all levels and dance backgrounds. Try a new style, meet new people and let's have fun in the studio!

How long is each class? Each class is 30 minutes, with a 5 minute break in between each one.

Do I need to sign up in advance? Advanced sign up is strongly encouraged so we can plan accordingly, but drop-ins are welcome to join if space permits.

How do I sign up? Purchase a ticket using the Donate link above.

Is there a limit to how many classes I can take? Your $25 donation gets you entry to unlimited classes for the day. Be sure to take breaks, stay hydrated, and eat energizing snacks throughout the day.

Will the workshops include a warm-up/stretch? Classes will not include a formal "warm-up," but you are welcome to arrive early to warm-up and stretch as needed.

Is this event accessible? There is a short staircase to enter the building and one flight of stairs to reach the 2nd floor. There is no elevator access in the building. An ASL interpreter can be provided, if requested in advance. If you require any additional access needs, please let us know how we can assist you!
