The Annual All My Uso’s (AMU) Community Family Day happening on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Gilman Park (903 Gilman Street, San Francisco, CA 94124). If you are not aware of it, this event is open to the public with an emphasis toward inviting low-income families with limited resources. Community members come to learn about resources available to them including health screenings, food, backpacks, school supplies, books, haircuts, jumpers, STEM activities, face painting, games, entertainment, and just fun for the whole family.
This event is 100% free to all who attend. Attendance each year has well exceeded 400 community members from Hunters Point, Double Rock, Sunnydale and areas outside of SF. To ensure the success of this very important event, we are seeking assistance to help cover the costs associated with this event. All funds raised will be directly used to provide the community members with these free services.
All My Uso’s is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is devoted to making a difference in low-income communities. AMU was founded by my late husband, Jaytee Mauia, a San Francisco native, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2014. He realized life was short and wanted to unite communities of all ages, races, and genders to show them how to appreciate life and make good memories while providing services to low- income families that just need a bit of help. Unfortunately, we lost Jaytee on June 30, 2018, but continue his vision by holding this free event each year.
Your generous donation will greatly enrich our 8th Annual AMU Community Family Day. Use the link below to view last years event.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.
