Our Legacy Continues

For over 55 years, Action for Older Persons has provided the most trusted unbiased information, personalized guidance, and client-centered advocacy to improve the quality of life of older adults and their families. We are the only private nonprofit organization in Broome County whose primary focus is on the needs of older adults

– the largest growing segment of our area’s population.

Your Generosity Makes it Possible

Whether our staff and volunteers are providing health insurance counseling, advocating for individuals in need of long-term care, or preventing elder abuse, AOP assists over 4,000 individuals annually, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our community.
