Every pet that comes to the APA has a story, and every story deserves a happy ending. This year, nearly 10,000 animals will find their way to us, with nearly 1,000 pets arriving this month alone. Each one—whether furry, feathered, or scaled—relies on the kindness of people like you to provide the care, love, and second chances they need.

Our dedicated staff works tirelessly, 365 days a year, to nurse sick pets back to health, comfort those who feel scared and alone, and prepare them for the loving homes they deserve. But none of this is possible without your generosity.
