Host a cultural station (By invite only due to limited space at civic plaza)

Salam everyone:

We invite local nonprofits to join us for Love Your Neighbor, a community celebration of diversity, unity, and service. Hosting a table at this event is a great way to share your mission, connect with residents, and engage with people who want to make a positive impact in our city.

Murfreesboro Muslim Youth Responsibilities

We will provide one 10x10 tent, one table, and two chairs per station (you are welcome to bring additional items if needed).
We will manage trash collection throughout the event.
We will oversee event logistics and coordination.
If you have a specific request, please let us know in advance.

Non Profit Responsibilities

Decorate your station and provide any materials or gifts to the visitors. (We expect a few hundreds people to attend)

Event Details for Non Profit

Event Address is: 111 W Vine St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130
Setup Time: Check-in and setup begin at 12:00 PM. All tables must be ready by 1:00 PM.
Event Hours: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Non profits are asked to remain for the full duration.
No Fee: Hosting a table is free. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Expectations & Requirements

Restrictions: No open flames, political campaigning, or distribution of religious promotional materials.
City Regulations: No access to electricity or open flames permitted by the City of Murfreesboro.
Community-Friendly Messaging: All displays and activities must be family-friendly and respectful of all cultures.
Materials: Hosts are responsible for providing their own table, chairs, and canopy/tent. (We can supply these if requested during sign-up.)
Weather Preparedness: This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event. Please plan accordingly (e.g., tents, weights, rain covers).
Engagement: Interactive elements such as games, activities, or giveaways are encouraged to engage attendees.
Food & Beverages: Sharing free snacks, water, or small food samples is allowed (please label items). Sales of food or drinks are not permitted.
Clean-Up: Hosts must leave their area clean and remove all materials at the end of the event.

MUSIC/PERFORMANCE

We will have a staging area with music, performances, and some speakers.
