Helping others helps our community. TOGETHER, WE MAKE MORE POSSIBLE.
Serving Alliance, Nebraska for over 40 years, our mission is to ensure every resident, regardless of their socio-economic status, has access to safe, quality, affordable programs, and recreational opportunities to build a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Your help providing scholarships ensures everyone can belong. In 2024 we awarded $24,500 in scholarships benefiting 130 individuals and 55 families who could have access to live healthier lives and support working parents with reduced fees to ARC afterschool & Summer camp so they can continue providing for their families. 11% of Alliance residents live in poverty, and nearly 60% of elementary students come from low-income households.
As our community grows and the needs of our members evolve, we must make important upgrades to ensure that ARC continues to serve its purpose effectively. To address these urgent issues, we are launching a capital campaign to renovate our locker rooms and ensure ARC remains a safe, accessible, and fully equipped resource for the community. These renovations will include modernizing the locker rooms, improving health benefits and amenities with Infared saunas, and expanding our security system to provide 24/7 after-hours access to these spaces, therefore supporting our rural workforce. By enhancing our facilities, we will be able to better meet the needs of our members, offering them a more welcoming and functional space to improve their health and well-being.
In addition to the locker room renovations, this project will allow us to continue offering important services like scholarships for families facing financial barriers and expanded programming opportunities during the summer. Your generous contribution will help us make these critical upgrades a reality, ensuring that ARC remains a vital community resource for years to come.
Your support today provides the tools to meet our community’s challenges and ensures unity in our community. Thank you for supporting our mission.
