As the sun begins to set and the campus starts to quiet down, a group of students gather on a lawn, eagerly awaiting the Athan (call to prayer). These are not just any students, these are young men and women who have left the comfort and familiarity of their homes to chase their dreams and pursue higher education.

For many of them, this is their first time away from home during the holy month of Ramadan. They are missing the warmth of their family gatherings, the delicious aroma of homemade Iftaar meals, and the sense of community that comes with breaking fast together.

But then one young man gets up to call the Athan, and a group of dedicated volunteers spring into action. They serve prepared Iftaar meals for their fellow students, wanting to make sure that no one feels alone or forgotten during this special time.

As the students gather around the table, their faces light up with gratitude and joy. The night is filled with laughter, chatter, and the clinking of utensils as they break their fast together. For a moment, they forget about the miles that separate them from their families, and they feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie that warms their hearts.

We ask that you provide the students at ASU with this opportunity. Please help make a difference, and help us bring a little piece of home to these students who are far away from their loved ones.
