About the Let Hope Grow organization:

Let Hope Grow is a non-profit organization that Lura Sawyer and several other caregivers founded to support people with ALS. Most of us are caregivers for veterans, who are more likely to be diagnosed with ALS than other individuals. ALS is a 100% service-connected disease, and veteran families receive ample support and supplies for their ALS patients. However, those who are not eligible for VA help may face difficulties, and we want to assist them in obtaining the supplies and support they require to maintain a good quality of life while living with ALS. The caregivers own this non-profit, and we do not receive any payment for our work. We are committed to helping those with ALS, and everything we plan to do is driven by our dedication and compassion.
