Kingdom One has created a biblically minded sexual harassment prevention training called Above Reproach. Our aim is to help churches achieve legal compliance where the state mandates training and do so in a way that aligns with their values.

The Ask:

What is Above Reproach?

Above Reproach is a biblically minded sexual harassment prevention training.

Why create a sexual harassment prevention training?

We believe this training will help the Church in two significant ways.

1. A Reminder of Calling

Christian leaders are called to live a life that is above reproach. Both Titus and Timothy list “above reproach” as the first characteristic when describing what an overseer should be. This is direct instruction from God’s Word. Our approach to sexual harassment prevention training weaves scripture and real life ministry examples into the state mandated content.

We want to help the Church be above reproach, and we believe that our biblical and ministry specific approach to sexual harassment prevention training can help.

2. Helping Churches Become Compliant

Second, we believe that churches should be compliant with the law. Multiple states require sexual harassment prevention training for employees. By offering a biblical approach to this training, churches and Christian ministries can choose an option that better aligns with what they believe.

In order to help encourage compliance, we are making our Above Reproach training free for one year. That means any organization can achieve compliance without spending anything.

Project Scope:

Above Reproach cost $10,000 to develop. Costs include:

Course creation
Research and adherence to compliance rules and regulations
Script development
Distribution through a learning management system
Travel for contributors to the project
Equipment rental
Filming
Editing
Free access for one year

What is Kingdom One R&D?

As we interact with a wide variety of churches through our talent work, we discover problems that are common across traditions, church sizes, and locations. When we find problems like these, we search for an effective way to solve the problem. If we don’t find an acceptable solution, we look into building it.

Research and Development builds solutions like Above Reproach in order to help meet the needs of the Church. Projects like these are one of the major components of Kingdom One.
