Help us fight for justice — donate today to protect Woodford, St.John
Our community of Woodford, St. John is fighting for its life — and we need your help to take our case to court.
The Rayneau Construction Company has illegally and dangerously erected a massive industrial complex fewer than 200 feet from our homes — without any consultation, and without legal permission from our local Planning Authority.
This project threatens everything we hold dear. It combines quarry mining, concrete batching, and asphalt production — industries known to release toxic dust, harmful fumes, and relentless noise. Already, we are feeling the early impacts: dust in the air, unregulated noise, vibrations shaking our homes, and the fear of what’s to come.
Acres and acres of our rich farmland have been bulldozed with some of the silt making its way to the river and the nearby bay. Mangroves have been destroyed. The wetlands that sustain our fishing industry is under threat.
The sanctuary for the Grenada Dove, one of the world’s rarest birds, is now in danger. And with every blast and excavation, our fragile, landslide-prone hillsides are being pushed closer to disaster.
We have appealed to our government for help — but our calls have gone unanswered.
Now, our only hope is the legal system. We need your support to cover legal costs, filing fees, and expert reports necessary to make our case in court.
This fight is about protecting Woodford but it is also about standing up for the principle that no one is above the law, and that every citizen deserves protection.
Please stand with us.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us get one step closer to justice.
