It all started because of Isa, the mother of our beloved Co-Founder and Executive Director, Cary Lopez.

Before transitioning, Isa lived with Alzheimer's disease for 14 years. Our Co-Founders Cary Lopez and Kristine Allen struggled to find local, relevant support and information to improve Isa's quality of life. For that reason, upon Isa's passing, they decided to sell their successful fragrance business and launch Act Now Foundation. As our Co-Founders always say:

"She will continue to be our inspiration and motivation to build Awareness about Alzheimer's disease."

Since 2012, Act Now Foundation, a grassroots not-for-profit, has worked tirelessly to raise awareness, advocate, and educate New Jersey about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, prevention, and early detection.
